The state's exchequer being plundered to the dismay of the taxpayers to honour this guy who has already been honoured enough in the past with golden pen, etc,.
The Hindu is proud it seems. Absolute sycophancy!! And for no apparent reason too.
And as usual major traffic diversions.
Whenever any of my friends in US say they hate India and US is lot better, I argue with them to the hilt. But at times like these, I wonder....

its the employees' union da.. I dont think it would be proper to take this as teh view of the paper.. This is not to give a clean chit to the paper.. its leaning towards the DMK..but its support to the DMK is not ostentatious..

by the way, I read that dayanidhi boycotted the ceremony, a clear sign of rift in the ranks of DMK. You may be aware that the Dinakaran office in Madurai was attacked, burnt and as a result 3 employees died. I also heard that MK azhagiri and stalin have used this boycotting of the function by dayanidhi to compell MK to remove him from his post as a cabinet minister....
